ABOUT
ME
What do you get when you combine a talent for art, a passion for design and a fascination with all things medical?

Hi! I’m Shannon Ingles, an industrial designer who’s committed to using her skills, education and training to improve the healthcare experience for patients and medical professionals alike.

Illustration and design have always been part of my life, thanks to a mom and dad who are both professional graphic artists. Then during my four years at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD), I discovered a whole new way to apply my skills.

As an industrial designer, I draw upon research, problem-solving techniques, empathy building, and creative conceptualization to develop innovative and practical solutions for the healthcare field and other industries. At MIAD, I acquired real-world experience designing products, from medical equipment to men’s fashion. Along the way, I’ve earned recognition for outstanding design and academic excellence.

Artistic talent, industrial design expertise and a desire to make a difference in people’s lives? That’s a winning combination!
